SOS 4 pets

Goldra has closed it’s doors definetely. Thanks to the effort of some wonderfull people most dog’s found a new home but there are just a few still waiting if you can help please get in touch.

Sally has gone to a new home in Luxembourg, Gemma is going to Meike the vet in Germany, Evelyne has taken Sparky home with her and he is having a wonderful new life !. George has gone to a lovely new home abroad.Coco , Flo, and Jo have all gone to a wonderful farm in Germany known to Evelyne. The 3 large puppies, 2 stripey and I black and whirte – Caspar re homed here and Marie Mombers has taken the other 2 home with her to try and find new homes for them. Hooch was very sadly injured in a fight and had to be put to sleep. Peter, outside the gate, was hit by a car and is recovering slowly.

Marisa is still looking after Samantha, Luke, Lucy, Heather, Kiki, Niki and Roscoe. She does not want them to go to other centres only to new homes so we are hoping to work with one at a time to achieve this !!

The Bamboo Animal Shelter in Guadalupe in the Algarve is owned and run by Nana van der Velden, who has lived in the Algarve for the past 7 years. Nana secured the rights to the farm in order to fulfill her dream of providing a sanctuary for abused and mistreated animals. In fact the initial goal was to form a dog sterilization service, the to re-home those dogs, but before this could begin, Nana was approached by somebody who urgently needed to find a home for 7 donkeys. They were in very poor condition and when Nana took them in the Bamboo Animal Shelter was born.
